Picture Hosting With Dropbox

I am attempting to move some of my blog photos and graphics to Dropbox, due to Apple Inc.’s recently announced forthcoming transition from MobileMe to iCloud. Over the years I thoroughly enjoyed the  Homepage aka .Mac aka MobileMe product with it’s easy to use drag and drop style of website hosting. Apparently much of this will be gone by next year. However, 5 GB of iCloud storage for files, music, iTunes, etc. will be offered free compared to the $100 dollars per year I pay now (albeit that price included a generous heap of 20 GB of webspace)

The above pictures are of PPL Park and two Father’s Day greeting card illustrations. Apparently, Dropbox photo hosting and/or uploading works almost as good as Picasa or Flickr and is efficient and intuitive. Dropbox currentlly offers 2 GB free with opportunities for paid upgrades or as a reward for distributing Dropbox invites.  Pretty nice so far. What would you think?
