October Evening of Food, Fun and Prizes To Focus on Spina Bifida Awareness Month

Autumn is finally here and the month of October beautifies the landscape with colorful fall foliage. October is also Spina Bifida Awareness Month and National Disability Awareness Employment Month. The Spina Bifida Resource Network (of the NJ/NY Metro area) is once again focusing on spina bifida and disability awareness via it’s Living to Empower event to be held this Monday (Columbus Day) at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, NJ.

All of us in attendance last year enjoyed a delicious, fun evening and anticipate this year’s event to be even bigger and better. “Proceeds from [the] event will support the Family Support Program servicing children and familes in New Jersey, in addtion to the Spina Bifida Community in Southern New Jersey.”

So come out this Monday and have some great food and drink, and fun and prizes while supporting “theSBRN” and our community of persons with spina bifida and their friends and families. The need-to-know info is below:

$15 per person (over 21) covers entry, food and open bar

In additon to the low cost of entry to the event, participants will also enjoy the opportunity to win some great prizes through purchase of “tricky tray tix” for $10 and 50/50 chances for $10 and $20.
